Bathboard was born beside a river — from a chance encounter that became a shared life, a growing family of four daughters, and the belief that the simplest daily rituals deserve more intention.
We didn't set out to build a brand. We set out to take care of our family. And somewhere along the way, that became Bathboard.
Origin
Rosa and Brandon met by chance beside a river. That unexpected encounter became the beginning of a shared life — and the quiet inspiration behind everything Bathboard creates. Our logo carries that story: two paths flowing naturally toward each other, meeting at a single point, just like water.
Family
When two of our daughters developed sensitive skin, we started making our own soap — fragrance-free, high-moisture, gentle enough for them. What began as a family solution became a line of products we are proud to share with yours. Every bar is made with the same care we put into bath time at home.
Craft
Brandon's love of woodworking gave Bathboard its hero product — a surf-inspired bath tray crafted from Canadian wood. Each Bathboard is shaped, finished and quality-checked by hand in Calgary, Alberta. From the grain of the wood to the finish on every soap bar, craft is never an afterthought. It is the whole point.

The Bathboard began as Brandon’s answer to a problem: bath time needed a better surface. Inspired by the clean lines of surf culture and built from Canadian wood, it holds everything you need — soap, a candle, a moment of calm.

The soaps began as Rosa’s answer to another problem: sensitive skin needed a gentler bar. Made with olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and castor oil, each bar is handcrafted in small batches using the hot process method — rustic, natural and honest.
